THE SOOTHE DAY RETREAT IN LONDON

St Georges School, Mayfair, London

“I leave the retreat feeling calm, collected and as though I can handle anything. I’m more comfortable and confident in myself and carry this with me in the weeks that follow. In moments when I usually let stress and tension send me into a spin, I hear de Belgeonne telling me to breathe and I relax.”
– Sunday Times, Style Magazine

Join somatic movement educator Nahid de Belgeonne, founder of The Human Method, for
The SOOTHE day retreat – a timely opportunity to pause and rediscover how it feels to be
completely at ease as the new season starts.

Enjoy a full day of profound personal development in a historic urban setting, tucked away in
the heart of Mayfair, London W1. Learn new tools and functional movement strategies to help
self-regulate your nervous system and leave you feeling calm and resilient, with proven
methods to take away and roll out into your life.

The Human Method is a powerful practice of brain-body re-education. An effective communication framework that will guide you in exploring the reasons why you move, think, and behave the way you do – and how these patterns influence your wider emotional wellbeing.

Blending breathwork, anatomy in movement, somatic yoga flow, and deep rest with the latest thinking in Neuroscience, experience a set of carefully designed practices to help you release unhelpful patterns in the body and mind, creating new neural pathways to invite greater possibility of movement, in both your physical body and your life as a whole.

Trained in Feldenkrais, Somatic Movement, Breathwork and Yoga, Author and Somatic Educator Nahid de Belgeonne brings decades of experience and personal insight into the way the human body processes stress and trauma.
