Nahid de Belgeonne is the founder of Good Vibes which launched back in 2006. She began her early career as a creative entrepreneur before she moved into health and well-being to help lead Londoners into a new era of ‘lifestyle fitness’. Nahid is a teacher trainer, having run 200 hr yoga and advanced courses.
She has trained with some of the world’s leading yoga teachers including Simon Low and Judith Hanson Lasater, most recently embarking on a 4-year training programme in Feldenkrais, an educational method focusing on a heightened awareness of movement which can increase vitality, improve flexibility, posture and balance. She is known for her inspiring classes and infectious good mood.
Her corporate clients include L’Oreal, Orange, Mac Cosmetics, Estee Lauder, Aveda, La Mer, Shu Umera and ASOS.
Nahid de Belgeonne is a British Wheel of yoga accredited teacher with a passion for sharing the healing benefits of movement and yoga. She has been practising yoga since 2000, her first 200hr yoga course with Simon Low at The Yoga Academy in 2010. She teaches embodied yoga flow, restorative yoga, meditation, yoga nidra and somatic movement, her emphasis is on intelligent movement and finding ease in the body.
She has undertaken intensive yin study with Simon Low, is an advanced Relax and Renew restorative yoga teacher trained by Judith Hanson Lasater. She has taken advanced studies with Gary Carter, John Stirk, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and mindfulness training with Michael Stone. Nahid is also a Somatic movement coach.
Nahid believes a good teacher is one who never stops learning and evolving. She is currently on a 4 year Feldenkrais Teacher Training which she will complete in 2022.
Nahid has understood the importance of movement for good health since she started running at 14. She worked in a health food shop in her early teens and has been looking after herself with food and movement for most of her life.
She relishes teaching a range of populations, from stressed out CEOs, to magazine editors on tight deadlines, to the not so bendy, the sceptics who don't think yoga is for them, the curious beginner, the open-minded improver, those who suffer from chronic stress, anxiety and pain, yoga teacher trainees right through to clients with a range of dependency issues. Her aim is to demystify yoga yet still show you the magic of this powerful ancient technology.
